Penguin USB Memory Stick

USB memory sticks come in all different shapes and sizes these days. From the bog standard to the totally outrageous and novelty, but this one lies on a happy, wintery medium, that’s right it’s a Penguin USB Memory Stick!

Under the surface just a regular 2GB/4GB USB memory stick, but on the outside is a cute winter penguin dressed up in his hat and scarf for the winter. The head is retractable to reveal the USB connection. The head does not actually become detached from the body which is reassuring as you will find it more difficult to lose his head than on many other flash drives. I mean, what would a penguin without a head?

A nice touch to add something new to the drive is the water resistant material of the outer penguin. So rest assured if you accidentally splash your brandy on it at Christmas, it should be fine!

There are 4 different penguins to collect each with their own skin colour and clothing, there’s even a limited edition Santa penguin which is only available as a 2GB USB memeory stick. The colours available are only Black, Grey or White but I have never seen nor heard of any penguins which aren’t mostly monotone.

Other little touches are a small hole in the tail so you can keep it on your key ring. The 2GB edition will set you back £14.99 where as the 4GB will be £5 more. This seems a tad hefty to me, but this surely is the cutest way of storing your files. You get what you pay for anyhow.
