I have to admit after seeing a Samsung LED TV the other day in Curry’s store I have to say the picture quality is a step up again from previous HDTVs that I’ve seen. What I like about Samsung is that they keep producing these great TV’s and once again they have done a fantastic job.
So you maybe wondering what set these apart from the Samsung HDTV’s that have been on the market for a while now? Well they still have the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) which you may already have at home but the major difference is that they use LED technology now. LED’s are now used as the backlight rather than TV’s right now which use a standard fluorescent lamp.
The LED technology certainly sharpens the picture quality greatly but the new TV’s from Samsung also offer a number of exciting enhancements. The Samsung HDTV’s has been adapted into a new ultra slim and light design which makes placing and moving the TV so very simple.
The Samsung LED TV is also eco-friendly by significantly reducing the power usage and improving everyone’s environmental footprint, should you buy one. On average you are using around 40% less power than an average TV due to the LED’s running cooler than a normal fluorescent lamp. I think it’s great to see Samsung striving to help the environment and this certainly will appeal to many people.
Overall what does the Samsung series 7 LED TV’s mean for you? – Sharper images, deeper blacks, slimmer and more environmentally friendly. I really believe the Samsung LED TV’s are the future of LCD TV’s and after viewing them in stores they are certainly on my to-buy list.
